Nordyx PLACL Molded Cogs

mockup_cannula_box.jpg

We have 2 types of Molded cogs: SN cogs and SC cogs.

The advantage of this product is the strength and durability of the thread. Unlike other types of thread products with cogs, this type uses a production method called the «molding-press process", which results in very little power loss in the thread material when compared to other types of cogs that are produced using cog pattern processing.

The hooks are thicker than the FE-cogs and create a hold to the tissue that lasts longer. Where you have heavy and older skin that needs more anchoring, these are preferable to the usual FE-3D hooks.

These are threads that are bi-directional (the hooks go in both directions towards each other towards the middle).

SC-cogs

With SC-cogs, the thread creates a very strong attachment to the tissue due to many strong and molded cogs. SC cogs come in 19G cannulas and are available in 60mm, 80mm and 100mm. They also come in 18G cannula and 100mm cannula length.

The thickness of the threads inside the 19G cannula is 2-0 USP, and in the 18G cannula, they are 1-0 USP. These molded cogs are also available as Double Needle threads, and then have a thickness of 1-0 USP.

SN-cogs

With SN-cogs you get an extremely good attachment to the tissue, and it is important that you press/massage the tissue into the "openings" on the thread right after you have inserted it sub-dermally so that you then "lock" the tissue on the cogs so that the tissue is prevented from falling down again. The SN threads come in thicknesses 2 and 3 USP, which are the thickest threads on the market. The SN thread comes inside an 18G-L cannula that has either 60mm or 100mm in length.
